Jeremy is a New York native
Jeremy is a New York native who has loved to sing since he was a young boy. His sister, Carolyn, speaks of Jeremy singing to TV commercials as a child and never stopping from there. His early influences were Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, David Ruffin, Levi Stubbs of the 4 Tops. Later influences were Brian McKnight, Michael Jackson, Howard Hewitt and Pebo Bryson. Currently Jeremy likes John Legend, Elliot Yamin & Justin Timberlake. Over the years Jeremy has focused on live performance, specifically R&B with a variety of musicians. Live performance has always been close to Jeremy’s heart and something he’s always interested in doing.
As a top-line writer and vocalist, Jeremy loves to work with producers and engineers creating music. According to Jeremy, writing the lyrics for a song is "really exciting and you get to express a thought from start to finish, sharing your point of view".Through 2007, Jeremy worked on numreous dance music projects for producers around the world. The vast majority of these projects being released over seas. This work led to his first two Top-40 hits in Holland, "Turn The Lights Off" and "Physical Attraction". The lyrics for "Physical Attraction" were written by Jeremy and recorded in a Manhattan studio.
It wouldn't be until February of 2008 when "Deep At Night" (previously released throughout Europe by Fektive Records) would be released in North America by Nervous Records and become a Billboard Top 10 Hit that Jeremy's success would be realized at home in the United States. In the summer of 2008, the release of “Night Moves” in Holland was received with great enthusiasm by the European Dance Music community. The song opened Dennis Ruyer's Dance Department on Holland's national Dance538 radio on June 11th and became a listener favorite on the playlist. http://jeremycarr.com/

ABOUT Mansion New York – Located at 530 West 28th Street in New York City, the ultra lounge reinventing high end Manhattan nightlife is the aptly named Mansion, the newest property from Miami club kings The Opium Group. Their first endeavor in the big apple is a partnership between the Buddhist former GQ cover model Eric Milon (Living Room, Set, Opium Garden/Prive and Mansion in Miami & Prive Las Vegas) and Mark Baker, the charismatic skate punk turned godfather of New York City nightlife (Life, Lotus, Double Seven). Together they’ve transformed one of New York’s premiere spaces into an exquisite experience unparalleled by anything currently on the nightlife scene. Their “residence-meets-nightlife” concept for Mansion combines the warm intimacy of a London private club with the stylish sexy glamour of Manhattan. “Everyone wants a mansion in New York,“ says Mark Baker. “Well, now they’ve got one.” Baker confesses nostalgia for New York before the “sanitization of Giuliani” sucked the colorful street life out of the city. He remembers the days of Area, when every night was an event and everyone was a personality. This opinion is shared by Milon, who lived in New York for most of the 80’s and still considers it home. “New York is international.
You can find the best restaurants, the best shows, and the best fashion. But when it comes to nightlife, for the last ten years I have thought something was missing,” says Milon. This nocturnal blandness is the reason they are bringing the Opium philosophy already popular in Miami and Vegas to the city that’s not supposed to sleep. “I thought that if I had to go to one more club that’s about B-List celebrities and eighteen year old go-go girls doing some tired pole moves I’d go live in Moscow, where the night life is incredible right now” states Baker. Adds Milon, “We want Mansion to be a place for an eclectic crowd uptown, downtown, gay and straight. New Yorkers need a place that’s warm, sexy and fun. A place everybody is expecting from New York, and everybody is ready for again.” Each room in their Mansion will feature music from international DJ’s playing from spectacular DJ booths, high end sound by industry leaders Function One, luxurious design elements like Pucci fabric covered couches and crystal chandeliers, and herbal infused, aphrodisiac elixirs created by master mixologist Gregory Selder.
“New Yorkers deserve something fun and sexy" says Baker, ‘with genuine adult entertainment, great music and beautiful, beautiful girls...girls that make you go weak at the knees. ” Not surprisingly, Baker is currently casting for dancers and aerialists around the world. As with all venues created by Milon and Baker, customer service is the key to Mansion. “There’s a huge emphasis on service and providing everything the customer needs or wants,” says Vanessa Menkes, Vice President at The Opium Group. “This isn’t bottle service. This is full service. Mansion caters to all tastes and walks of life, with the point being that, at Mansion, everyone is a VIP.”

My Version of Jeremy Carr song ONE
Another mix using Jeremy's vocals, titled " ONE " It's a bit different to Love Of My Life, no it's not country, a dance/pop/Rock style.
I am still in my infant stage when it comes to mixing using a computer I'm still the old school muso, the equiptment and softwear I use would have to be around 10 years old, gets me there. Hope you enjoy.
